I believe the trees in the picture are called "Baobab". Just as sketched in Exupery's book, "the little prince". Don't know whether it is the same kind of trees described in those stories or not. Never thought about this possibility.. Anyway, interesting analogy.

ReplyDelete面包树是东南亚的植物。面包果就是马来人所谓的Sukon. 去谷歌一下breadfruit, 你就知道所谓的文人浪漫,对植物的认识真的很肤浅。

ReplyDeleteMoot,那应该是我的图不对办,故事中的面包树不在非洲,在泰国。至于为什么要隔着永不相见的距离,难道不能种成一排排吗?我是完全不懂,只是悲剧听起来比较凄美浪漫吧?
你说得很对,我也看不懂。在热带地区海島的把面包树当主食的地区,面包树种起来是一大排的。
